I have 6+ years experience working in outdoor education, teaching pre-k through high school students about food justice and animal husbandry.

I have 6+ years experience in small ruminant health and herd management. Four of those years I was managing a sheep and goat dairy, and have extensive knowledge on nutritional health management for pregnant and lactating ewes and does. I am comfortable and confident assisting and coaching others through assisting in both easy and difficult birthing situations as well as follow up dam care and newborn care.
I can treat most wounds and illnesses that don’t require stitches or surgery.
I have my own herding dog and am comfortable and confident with low stress livestock handling and moving.

I have basic to moderate knowledge with chickens, ducks, and geese including handling, assessing illness and injuries, and nutritional needs.

I have over a decade of experience in horse handling and care.

I’m passionate about education and helping to create accessible food systems for communities. I am always happy to help and share my knowledge.
